“I am honored to be endorsed by LGBTQ Victory Fund. The Victory Fund has changed the face of American politics and continues to do so every election cycle.

When elected, I will be the first LGBTQ official in Bell County and the first LGBTQ commissioner in Texas!”

At a public meeting on 25 July regarding Killeen’s new Comprehensive Future Plan, Louie Minor proposed taking full advantage of recent historic increases in property appraisals to tax citizens as much as possible on their homes and businesses in order to fund city improvements that he proposed as a member of the Comprehensive Plan Committee
Louie Minor wants to tax you for his own ambitions. Aren’t you taxed enough?
Chris Bray (BRAY FOR BELL)

The question voters need to ask themselves is:  Does being the first LGBTQ candidate in Bell County qualify you to be the County Commissioner?  (Louie Minor would like you to think so).

Sexual orientation has nothing to do with keeping taxes low and providing quality of life for my neighbors in Bell County.  A candidate’s sexual orientation does not make someone a better candidate for any public position. Quality and experience of the candidate should be your decision point at the polls. I have both.

Is Louie Minor the kind of leader you want?

Louie Minor proposed a Marijuana De-criminalization ordinance, then he voted against his own proposal during a public hearing with the Killeen City Council on 27 July (see video on my website)

Is this who you want for Commissioner…someone who flips on their own activist issue?   If marijuana is to be de-criminalized in Texas, it needs to start at the state level, not city municipalities where you will pit local law enforcement against other local, state and federal law enforcement who must follow State and Federal law.
My Challenge: I CHALLENGE Louie Minor to an open debate on any issues in Central Texas or at the national level. Just name the time and the place. We can agree to a moderator(s). One from each party seems fair.
If a poor decision is made by some to walk off a cliff, does that mean you should follow?
